SUMMARY:Mariano Benlliure in the Buen Retiro Gardens
DESCRIPTION:The Association of Friends of the Buen Retiro Gardens organizes this conference by Lucrecia Enseñat Benlliure\, great-granddaughter of Mariano Benlliure\, architect\, vice-president and director of the Mariano Benlliure Foundation and dedicated to the study of the sculptor’s work since 1997.\nLucrecia will offer a short introduction to the work of Benlliure and then she will focus on the four monuments of the artist that can be found in the Retiro Park.\nThe act will close with a performance by the C@nt@m@s choir\, with solo soprano Laura Cantero\, conducted by Ignacio Guijarro and Alberto Joya on piano.\nThe event will take place at the Casa de Vacas cultural center and admission will be free until full capacity is reached. The doors will open half an hour before the start of the event\, at 5:30 p.m.
