The activity organized by the Royal Botanical Garden (RJB) of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) returns with the conference “The sound Arboretum: plant forms\, between science and poetics” that will be offered by the biologist and environmental communicator\, Raúl de Tapia next February 7.\nThe conference will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Royal Botanical Garden\, with access from Calle Claudio Moyano\, 1.

DESCRIPTION:Next Monday\, February 13\, at 6:00 p.m. at the Eugenio Trías Public Library – Casa de Fieras\, the conference “El Hospital del Niño Jesús\, world heritage” will take place by Alberto Tellería\, technical member of the Madrid Association\, Citizenship and Heritage.\nAt the initiative of the Duchess of Santoña\, it was built in 1879 with traces by Francisco Jareño. It was the first Spanish children’s hospital\, and it was positioned as the cradle of Spanish Pediatrics. It has been valued as a magnificent example of the purest neo-Mudéjar style of the 19th century.\nThe event\, organized by the Association Madrid\, Citizenship and Heritage and the Association of Friends of the Buen Retiro Gardens\, will be free to enter until full capacity is reached.

SUMMARY:Mariano Benlliure in the Buen Retiro Gardens
DESCRIPTION:The Association of Friends of the Buen Retiro Gardens organizes this conference by Lucrecia Enseñat Benlliure\, great-granddaughter of Mariano Benlliure\, architect\, vice-president and director of the Mariano Benlliure Foundation and dedicated to the study of the sculptor’s work since 1997.\nLucrecia will offer a short introduction to the work of Benlliure and then she will focus on the four monuments of the artist that can be found in the Retiro Park.\nThe act will close with a performance by the C@nt@m@s choir\, with solo soprano Laura Cantero\, conducted by Ignacio Guijarro and Alberto Joya on piano.\nThe event will take place at the Casa de Vacas cultural center and admission will be free until full capacity is reached. The doors will open half an hour before the start of the event\, at 5:30 p.m.
