DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day\, next Wednesday May 3 at 7:00 p.m.\, the Association Getafe-Madrid for UNESCO\, in collaboration with the Madrid City Council \, the Landscape of Light\, the International Festival of Ibero-American Music and the Universidad Popular Carmen de Michelena\, offers at the Casa de Vacas Cultural Center the dramatised concert “Por la manchega llanura”.\nIt is a dramatized journey through the music of the Golden Age with a script and direction by Dafne Figal and performances by the UPCM Choir of Tres Cantos\, the Camerata Cervantina\, Conrado Granado and Francisco Asensio.\nThe event is free until full capacity is reached.

DESCRIPTION:The Ilustre Colegio de Médicos de Madrid (ICOMEM) will hold next Thursday\, May 18 \, in the spectacular amphitheater of its headquarters at Calle Santa Isabel\, 51\, a dialogue between Dr. Valentín Fuster and Dr. Luis Rojas Marcos\, which will last seventy minutes\, on the importance of the heart-brain binomial. \nDr. Valentín Fuster is Director General of the Cardiovascular Institute of Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and of the National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC) in Spain. Dr. Luis Rojas Marcos is a psychiatrist\, researcher and professor of Psychiatry at New York University and a member of the New York Academy of Medicine. \nWith this public act\, which is part of the program for the 125th anniversary of ICOMEM\, the events called ICOMEMDAY begin\, which consist of inspiring dialogues in which to share medical-scientific knowledge through the proper names of medicine today. \nThe event is free\, prior registration.
