DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of World Oceans Day\, on June 8\, at 6:00 p.m.\, the 1st year Baccalaureate students of the IES Lope de Vega in Madrid will offer the artistic and gala performance “Fears” at the Casa de Vacas\, in the Parque del Retiro\, with free admission until full capacity is reached. \nWorld Oceans Day reminds everyone of their important role in everyday life. They are the lungs of our planet\, an important source of food and medicine\, and a fundamental part of the biosphere.\nThe purpose of the Day is to inform about the impact of humans in the ocean\, to develop a global movement of support and to unite the population in a project for the sustainable management of our seas.

DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, June 19\, at Eugenio Trías Library – Casa de Fieras\, at 6:30 p.m.\, there will be a conference by the architect and expert in Historical Heritage Javier Aguilera Rojas. \nIn this conference\, organized by the Association of Friends of the Buen Retiro Gardens in collaboration with the Eugenio Library Trías\, Javier Aguilera will comment on videos with images of walks\, fountains\, ponds\, monuments… of the “Paseo del Prado and Buen Retiro\, Landscape of Light”. He will tell us about his vision of this space known as the Landscape of Arts and Sciences\, declared a World Heritage Site since July 2021. \nAdmission is free until full capacity. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.

This historical memory has been materialized in a wonderful artistic scientific heritage fully framed in the Landscape of Light\, heritage of humanity. \nThe event will be free to enter until full capacity is reached\, it is recommended to attend at least 15 minutes before the start of the conference.
